Now, here’s where things get interesting. Ben’s rivals, Judy Spears and Judy Green, find out about Andie’s plan and tell Ben about it. They challenge him to make Andie fall in love with him within 10 days. If he succeeds, he gets to lead the diamond campaign. And guess who they choose as the target? Yep, it’s Andie.

Ben and Andie meet and start their little game, but they don’t reveal their true intentions to each other. Andie does all sorts of crazy things to push Ben away, like making him miss an important basketball game, embarrassing him in public, and even bringing a fern plant and a weird-looking dog into his apartment. But Ben can’t help falling for her, even though he knows it’s all part of her plan.

Just when Andie’s about to give up and make a scene at one of Ben’s poker nights, his friends suggest couples counseling to save their relationship. Andie goes along with it and poses as a therapist, but things take a turn when Ben invites her to meet his family. During their trip, they start to develop real feelings for each other.

Everything seems to be going well until the company ball, where Andie overhears Judy and Judy telling Ben’s friends about the bet. She gets really mad and tries to embarrass Ben in front of everyone. They end up breaking up and Andie decides to leave town for a job interview in Washington, D.C.

But here’s where the magic happens. Ben realizes he can’t let her go and chases after her taxi. He stops her and confesses his true feelings. They kiss, and Ben tells the taxi driver to take Andie home because he’s taking her with him.

In the end, Andie writes an article about how she lost the only guy she ever fell for. But when Ben reads it, he realizes he can’t let her go. He catches up with her and they confess their love for each other. Andie quits her job, and they ride off into the sunset together.

So, yeah, it’s a hilarious and sweet movie about two people who start off playing games but end up finding true love.
