爱丁堡大学取消了部分学生的offer，导致部分同学无法正常的上网课，希望各位同引起注意，有没有收到学校发来的通知。
学校的通知大体的意思就是说学校致力于给同学提供高质量的教学，但是鉴于目前这个课程因为新冠的影响，没法达到高质量的水平和体验，所以取消了部分专业。
但是不得不说，很多课程是需要线下的实验教学和小组合作才可以完成，如果用网课的形式会达不到课程的要求，所以站在学校的角度想一下，其实是可以想的通的。但是作为已经拿到offer的学生，就很难接受了，接下来具体讲下取消的相关专业以及解决办法。

取消后的解决方案
而大学给出的解决方案基本上就是两种，一个是调剂到相关专业，比如被取消的MSc in Intellectual History历史类的专业，学校就建议同学们调剂到历史学或历史学（线上授课），再比如MSc Linguistics语言类专业，学校就建议统一调剂到语言学
而另外一种就是延期一年，今年10月再重新申请！
其实大家仔细观察这些取消的专业后会发现，大部分专业都是相对比较冷门的专业，比如医学院、兽医学院和历史学院的专业，基本中国的同学是不怎么会申请的。像商学院，计算机学院的专业，这些中国同学申请的比较多的专业一个也没有取消！
但是有些理工类，文科类和艺术类的专业，中国的同学申请的还是比较多的，所以拿到这些专业offer的学生确实需要做出选择，学校给出的调剂的解决方法同学们还是可以试一下的，一般学校建议的调剂专业都是类似专业。
而有些不想调剂的同学，就只能选择其他大学或者重新申请了。不过，如果明年大学重新开设此专业，明年重新申请再拿到offer的可能性还是有的，因为部分专业相对而言竞争还是不那么激烈，但是同时需要考虑时间等相关成本。
