Job description
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in retail, working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
This programme allows outstanding candidates to show us their management talent, communication skills and allows them to make their mark from day one.
Our eyes are open for people with management skills gained inside and outside the retail sector, demonstrating an appetite for a fresh challenge and a desire to widen responsibilities and lead from the front. We know talent when we see it.
Everyone who embarks on this programme will spend time working in stores getting to know our business as well as an understanding of our product range before moving on to running a Lidl store. The 6 to 9 month training programme is structured with a hands on approach to management taking on real responsibility. By the end of the training programme, candidates will be ready to take on their own district of up to five stores where they'll be responsible for all store operations, including human resource management of between 90-100 employees.
